Let me start by saying that I don’t wear yellow often, but surprisingly it’s one of my favorite colors to wear during the summer. This marigold blouse that I picked up from Zara is one of my absolute favorites and the color is perfect to transition into fall. I love that it’s long sleeve (I’m ALWAYS cold), but has slits and to add the cherry on top, it ties in front on the side. If you couldn’t tell from my last post here, I currently have a thing for blouses and dresses that tie in the front. You’ll be seeing that more in my upcoming posts. There is something about the detail that adds the perfect touch and it’s so flattering.
Since it’s still summer, I paired this top with my favorite white skinny jeans and plan to swap out with a dark denim wash for the fall. The marigold is already a bold, cheerful color, so I kept the accessories simple with neutrals, which will work now and in the upcoming months.
