Hello, December! Can you believe it’s already the holiday season and last month of the year? I can’t believe how much this year has flown by. I must admit though, it’s my absolute favorite time of year. Everyone is in the holiday spirit and there are a ton of parties to celebrate. With so many parties, it’s essential to have classic staples with a twist that can take you from desk to celebrations.
When I spotted this black leather pleated mini skirt from J. Crew it was a no brainer that I needed to add it to my wardrobe. It’s a chic wardrobe staple with an edge that you can dress up for the office or wear it for a night out.
I paired this black leather pleated mini skirt with a classic white button down shirt and leopard studded heels to give it a more edgy look. Now that we recently got a cold front in Houston, you can throw a sweater over you shoulders with a button down and add tights to keep you warm.
