Mali Mali Skincare

I don’t know about you, but my skin gets so dry during winter. I’m constantly having to moisturize and wear lip balm. When I was in Dallas a few months ago, I was grabbing breakfast with my family at Royal Blue Grocery in Highland Park Village and randomly came across two teenage girls giving samples of a moisturizer from a line called Mali Mali. A random fact about me is that I’m kind of obsessed with hand lotion. I’m constantly putting it on throughout the day, especially after washing my hands, so I like discovering new products that are super moisturizing.

I was pleasantly surprised that one of the girls, Sophia, founded the company after suffering from irritant prone skin that would cause a breakout in hives. She needed a solution other than Benadryl and cortisone cream. She created this vegan, gluten-free All Over Moisturizer made with all-natural ingredients. It has a very light scent that smells so good. Since I have sensitive skin and suffer from eczema occasionally, I have to be careful with the products I use.

I was so interested in learning more about Mali Mali skincare and luckily I was able to talk directly to the founder. After my mom and I talked to Sophia for a bit, we purchased the All Over Moisturizer and Refreshing Lip Oil. I am loving both of these products and have noticed such a difference in my skin. Mali Mali skincare products are so hydrating. I had to share this line with you guys and I love that it’s a local Texas company.

I’m going back on Accutane soon and know that my lips are going to be extremely dry, so I’ll be using the Mali Mali Refreshing Lip Oil to prevent any cracks, since that is a common side effect of the medicine. It’s super light weight and made with Tamanu Oil from the South Pacific. This ingredient is key in both of their products. It’s very soothing and has a gloss like finish. I honestly couldn’t recommend these products more. I love that Mali Mali skincare uses all-natural ingredients and it was founded by a young entrepreneur/ total GirlBoss.

What skincare products do you use for sensitive skin?
