The one item you need for summer is a great pair of denim shorts. It’s a necessity, especially if you live in Texas. Over the years, I’ve purchased my share of denim shorts and always struggled to find a pair that fit just right. Thankfully, I found the best denim cutoff shorts that I have to share with you guys. They are that good!
One of the things I look for in a great pair of denim shorts is a nice distressed look that still looks put together. It’s important for the length not to be too short and it must sit nicely on the hips. I remember buying a pair from a really popular brand. I always felt so self-conscious because the shorts were long in the back, but extremely short in the front. It had a roll up detail that I felt was super unflattering. I still tried to rock them anyways since they cost more than what I would normally pay for a pair of distressed shorts. I have since retired them.
Cue the shorts featured in today’s post. These have been on repeat all summer that I had to buy them in a lighter denim wash, as well. They really are the best pair of denim cutoff shorts. I purchased them in two different sizes. One is my normal size and I sized up in the ones I’m wearing in this post for a looser fit. It may sound funny to buy two different sizes in this short, but they achieve two different looks with the fit. This pair is the perfect length that I can also wear with espadrilles so they aren’t too short. Also, I can still show off my legs.
These shorts are so comfortable and a summer staple. I could go on and on, but I’ll spare you. If you’re in need of a great pair of distressed denim cutoff shorts that are perfect in length with just the right amount of distress, then these are for you.
